Adorable and stout bell shaped design, hand-crafted in delicate, almost weightless porcelain. The cobalt glazed hand painting on one side depicts a child fanning a wood fired kettle of water (for tea!) with bamboo leaves in the background. Four characters are scribed on the opposite side: “He Jing Qing Zhi”, “Peace Respects Serenity”. Four characters also adorn the lid: “Qing Xin Ke Yi”, literally meaning “Clear Heart Creates Possibilities”.

Hand-crafted in Jingdezhen, each piece is shaped by hand with hollow handles, hand-painted in cobalt oxide under a glossy translucent glaze, then high-fired to produce its classic blue hue. Our paper porcelain tea pots are a blend of old and new, crafted and hand painted in the Ming Dynasty tradition with a modern aesthetic.
